O Kalipurush,
O depraved lord of this yuga. I see your power.
In the hearts and minds of those over whom you tower.
So that they may consume, defile, and decay.
Walking towards every wrong way.
Perverting their thoughts and desires
Just paving the way for destruction
Corruption, ignorance, and hate
All left in your wake.
Like an animal, you hunt some.
Fueling their fears and tears
Their loss of hope and innocence.
While on the others sins, you feed.
Their anger, lust, pride, and greed
As they delude and burn themselves
In their very own self-made hells
What a great demon you are!
Who were Ravana and Duryodhana?
But mere men, defeated by lust and pride
Your minor agents were their so-called might.
A testament to your supremacy.
Whoever conquered time and space.
And lost it in a moment’s time.
Is no match to you.
You, O depraved one, are the greatest.
For you control them all.
Through their own pettiness and spite.
Your strength-destroying strength
Your intellect-destroying intellect
You whose existence is challenged,
But also, worshipped by all.
Darkness Personified
Chaos Incarnate
Root of All Evil
Embodiment of Sin
You are supreme.
You are eternal.
Or are you?
Because of all your glory
You fail against a true devotee.
A humanitarian undermines your efforts.
A true lover proves you wrong.
A great learner ends your propaganda.
An innocent child ends you.
A wise old man bends you.
Brave men and women resist you.
They and many more deny you.
Your undeserved praise.
Your reign may come,
But your reign will end.
O King of Depravity
It’s not for eternity.
The Divine, less maybe
Still resist, learn, and see.
Better places there are to be
And with all their might.
They move out of your darkness.
And into the divine light.
Their salvation.
Like the great Lord Kalki awaits.
